Mickey Munley

Mickey has 24+ years of experience as a communication, fundraising, and relationship-building professional.

From higher education to cause-building and philanthropy to sales, he has successfully helped numerous organizations advance from point A to point B and beyond.

Known for his outcome-oriented creativity and insightful thinking, Mickey is well-versed in selling ideas , causes, brands, and values.  He is a great strategic thinker, innovative in developing effective solutions.

A Vice-President at Grinnell College in the advancement areas for seven years, it was Mickey’s responsibility to guide the College’s fundraising, alumni relations, external promotion efforts, and large scale events.  His earlier service to Grinnell was as director of public relations (7 years) and director of annual giving (3 years).

Mickey has a notable path in electoral campaigns, beginning in 1988 when he co-directed Al Gore’s first presidential primary victory.  He also held significant, leadership roles in the first Senate race of former U.S. Senator Ben Nighthorse Campbell, the interim campaign of former Senator Tim Wirth, former Congressman David Skaggs first re-election, and managed Dick Bond’s campaign for Congress.
